Suggestions for the public VMIX Website

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the “My feedback” filter and select “My open ideas”.

    1. Add ability to ingest external feeds

      It would be easier if we could just give you an XML manifest of everything that you periodically checked and ingested automatically. Cut out the middleman per se.

      • Provide external file location for importing via CURL

        Instead of taking assets from a 3rd party, downloading to our server, and then using CURL to import into VMIX, it would be far easier if we could give you the location (i.e. URL) of the asset in the CURL script.

        • Add videos for analytics

          Do some Admin Analytics speed runs and vid-capture the desktop session with ishowu or something

          • Make the navigation consistent

            For some reason, not all of the main navigation items (Solutions and Services) have a landing page whereas Product and Showcase do... this inconsistency creates confusion and perception that something is not working
